Education Issues:
Education, believe it or not, is a huge part of your city. You need to have it to get a large population. To help you realize this, here is the "education equation" (it rhymes!): Good Education = (Industry + Population) = Good Trade = Good City That's the way the Simdrone goes, one thing effects another. What this is basically saying is that education effects industry by bringing more industry into your city. In turn, industry brings more people. The industry improves the export and both industry and population improve the overall city. You're probably wondering: Why do industries move in with high education. Well, high education means a bigger and better work force. And you all probably know that industries go where there is the best work force. Another equation (no, I'm not giving you a math lesson..): Good Education = Talented Work Force = (More Industry + More Population) = Better City This is another way of saying the first, but it more reveals the inner workings of education. Now that we know how that works, how do you get a high EQ (educational quotient)? The first step is schools. Every single city, from a tiny town of 100 to a huge metropolis of 1 million, increasing the number of schools with population. A city with 20K or 30K people should have at least 1 college. A city with 10,000 should have a library. A city with 60,000 should have a museum. Those are pretty much the minimum for a good education system. So, keep up with the demands and remember the cycle, and you should be fine. (Note: If the industry is down in the demand bar, try building some educational facilities. It might perk up a bit.) And overall, be creative.
