How to Build A Reinforced Highway Bridge
This is another undocumented feature of SC2000 that has been in widespread use.
Although most people prefer not to build highway bridges at all (due to the toughness
to get everything just right) you can easily build a bridge that will carry people
around and let boats go under. The boats thing is the main advantage, because boats
cannot go under a standard highway bridge. Here's how:
- Find a shoreline that's completely even on each side.
- Bring highway to each side.
- Make sure your highway cursor's shadow is halfway over land, halfway over water,
then click the left mouse button.
- You should get a box letting you pick between a normal bridge and a reinforced
bridge. Choose reinforced.
- The bridge will appear, will all the cool girders and everything.
The main disadvantage of the reinforced bridge is that it costs more.
And overall, be creative.
