Phantom Water Pump Trick: The Phantom Water Pump Trick is another easter egg for SC2K that allows you to water a city with just one water pump. Yes, it's true. This egg isn't in as widespread use as the past ones we've been talking about, but I've begun to use it on all my cities. It's prime advantage is that is saves both space and worries about your water system. Here's how to build one:

  1. De-zone a 3x3 square of land.
  2. Place a water pump on the middle square.
  3. Connect power to the pump.
  4. DO NOT CONNECT PIPES TO THE PUMP!!!
Check in your graph window. Your water % should be at 100. Frequently "Water Shortage Reported" may come up. Ignore it, everything is fine.

And overall, be creative.
